WHAT DISCOUNT DO YOU OFFER STUDENTS?
Brooklyn Bedding offers an everyday discount of 25% to all eligible students—applicable to all purchases, both online and in-store. Other promotions may apply during holiday periods.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Brooklyn Bedding has partnered with ID.me, an advanced digital identity company that provides an online credential to active students to access exclusive offers and benefits.
To verify your status as a student, you must be actively enrolled in an accredited, government-recognized public or private university or college that grants degrees or certificates in the US or Canada.
Eligible Students include:
- College Students
- University Students
- Community College Students
- Junior College Students
- Technical or Vocational College Students
NOTE: Students in professional training classes and primary/secondary school students do not qualify.
HOW IS MY DISCOUNT APPLIED?
You can shop BrooklynBedding.com or any of our Brooklyn Bedding stores, select your products, then verify your eligibility during the shopping process using the ID.me button on the checkout page. Once your eligibility is confirmed, the discount will automatically apply to your entire shopping cart.
HOW DO I VERIFY MY STATUS TO RECEIVE MY DISCOUNT?
You can load all of your product selections to your shopping cart, then simply click the ID.me button on the checkout page.
To use the “confirm your school enrollment” option, you must be a current student.
If you are a rising freshman or haven't yet started classes, select “upload student documentation,” and upload acceptable documentation showing your status as a student.
NOTE: If your Student verification is unsuccessful, you may be prompted to try another verification method. You will also receive an email describing why verification was unsuccessful, with guidelines for next steps.
WHAT KIND OF DOCUMENT(S) DO I UPLOAD IF ASKED?
If you selected the “upload student documentation” option for verification, we accept the following documentation as proof of Student status:
- Student ID card (with a valid, unexpired expiration date)
- Transcript showing current enrollment
- Enrollment verification letter from the Office of The Registrar (not an acceptance letter)
All valid documents must show your full name, your college/university name, and your date of attendance. Transcripts and verification letters must show your enrollment dates and your status (e.g. full-time, part-time, etc).
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO VERIFY MY STUDENT STATUS?
It depends on the verification option you choose. Sometimes, you will be verified in just a few minutes; if a manual review of your document is needed, it may take longer.
Once ID.me has reviewed your documentation, you will receive an email indicating whether or not your status was verified, and guidance for next steps if verification was unsuccessful.
I’M UNABLE TO TYPE MY SCHOOL INTO THE BOX OR SELECT IT FROM THE DROP-DOWN LIST. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
If you’re unable to type your school into the box or if your school isn’t on the drop-down list then you are not eligible for the offer at this time. To make sure you’re not missing your school, please type out the full name. For example, rather than UA, type University of Arizona.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CAN’T PROVE I’M A STUDENT?
This is extremely rare. Eligible US academic institutions provide multiple forms of official documentation that we can accept (e.g. class schedule, tuition receipt, transcript). In the event that you cannot provide acceptable proof of current student enrollment, we will be unable to approve you for the offer. But to repeat, if you're enrolled in an eligible US school, you should have access to a document we can verify.

ID.me protects all sensitive data with stronger encryption than many financial institutions. Additionally, we are one of only three companies certified by the U.S. Government to enable citizens to access sensitive information from federal agencies. Data security is our number one priority. We do not share information with third parties without our members' explicit permission. You decide whether or not you wish to release that information or to keep it private on a case-by-case basis.

IS THE STUDENT DISCOUNT AVAILABLE IN BROOKLYN BEDDING STORES AS WELL AS ONLINE?
Yes, the Student discount and any other related special promotions are applied at checkout when shopping in our showrooms. For security and privacy reasons, Brooklyn Bedding stores can only verify student identification documents in person at an authorized retail store. You may present your credentials at the time of purchase, or work with an in-store associate to digitally verify your eligibility using ID.me.
WHAT KIND OF IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED TO VERIFY MY ELIGIBILITY IN STORES?
Acceptable forms of identification for students include a current student ID card or documentation proving the student is currently enrolled in classes and qualifies for the program.
If none of the required identification is available at time of purchase, our store associates can work with students to verify eligibility using ID.me.
CAN I COMBINE THE STUDENT DISCOUNT WITH ANY OTHER OFFER?
The Student discount cannot be combined with any other promotional codes and cannot be applied to gift card purchases.
